Applet and Servlet

Applet:

• An Applet is a specific type of ByteCode, which can be embedded inside a HTML page.
• It can be downloaded and Run by a Web Browser.

Servlet:

• The Servlet is a resource on the Web Server.
• It is made up of Java ByteCode and would remain on Server.
• It is not delivered to Client like the Applet.
